Welcome to Ekysha's Page.

This morning Room Three sprinted to see our colourful garden. Our vegetables are not growing, they are hopping along. Room Three's garden has black holey netting over it so the naughty pukeko don't get our vegetables. We have some delicious vegetables in our garden.

Hangi

Today, over the fence there was a hangi. First the men dug a deep hole in the ground then the men made a fire and put the steel bars in the pit. I think we should have a hangi because we can have yummy food at school. Ekysha

Pukeko

Squawking loud, Pukeko swim in the deep blue water. Pukeko have thick layers of feathers so when they’re swimming they don’t get that wet. Pukeko are tough and strong. They are black and white and blue, also they are cheeky little Pukeko. I saw them on the field. They are very fast moving birds they run very fast. They have long sharp beaks. Ekysha
